The Ama Dablam Expedition is one of the most beautiful and attractive mountains in the world. The Ama Dablam stands as a perfect monastery on the path to the other trekking like the one known as the Everest base camp. It is most attracted due to its architecture as well as setting. But this expedition should not be open to all, and the one who has a good skill over the ice as well as the rock climbing and should have a nice experience to surrounding at the high altitude should not be prohibited from the expedition.
The Ama Dablam was first climbed by the group of people known by Mike Gill from New Zealand, Barry Bishop from the USA, Mike Ward from the UK and the last member was Wally Romanes from New Zealand too. They got this achievement of the Ama Dablam Expedition on the thirteenth of March in the year 1961. It is the world’s third popular Himalayan peak for the permitted expedition.
On the way to the climb, you will usually receive three camp that is present along the ridge. But the third camp lies just below the hanging glacier known as the Dablam. The place for the third camp is selected in such a way that any ice calves from the glacier will go away from the camp. Although in the year 2006 six climbers died at once and thus while attempting this expedition an officer and a permit is required. If either of this is not with you, you won’t be allowed for this expedition.
Similar to that of the Mount Everest, the best season for the climbing is in the month of April and May which is a spring season. And the month of September and October that is the autumn season. This two season suits the best for the Ama Dablam Expedition.
